Dear StoryBots Fans,
When we started StoryBots in 2012, our mission was to deliver learning and laughs to kids all around the world. Recently, we decided that the best way to achieve that goal was to join forces with Netflix. In May 2019, they purchased the company. We couldn’t be more excited about the road ahead.
This new focus to produce even more video content means we do not have the bandwidth to support the existing digital products. Accordingly, we have made the hard decision to turn off our iPhone and iPad apps, as well as the StoryBots website.
While the news about the digital products might be a bummer, we hope that you’ll be excited to learn that season three of Ask the StoryBots is on its way very soon. The questions asked by kids are bigger and brainier than ever, and we have some pretty incredible guest stars to help us out.
Our video shorts will continue to be on YouTube, and our entire music library can be streamed or downloaded on all major music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Google Play. Our Random House book collection is still available for purchase, and we also have a ton of new content, activities and products in the works with Netflix. We can’t wait to share it all with you!
Thank you for embracing the StoryBots and welcoming them into your home. It’s your support that has made this next phase of growth possible and we couldn’t be more grateful for it.
