So, you have a 2-to-6 year old in your life? How are you holding up? Could you use a little less stress and a lot more fun in your parenting routine? We thought so.
My brother and I created StoryBots to lend parents a hand with high-quality content you can feel great about giving your kids — as well as tools that make parenting more fun.
When we first started looking at apps for our own kids, we were shocked by the large number of low-quality, spammy apps out there. What’s worse, many of them showed inappropriate, unsafe ads to kids or tricked them into buying things.
We chose a different path for StoryBots.
Our vision? For a simple monthly subscription of $4.99, parents could unlock an entire universe of learning and fun across the web, iPhone, and iPad. That way, kids could have a blast without hitting roadblocks (e.g., pay $.99 to get to the next level) and parents could rest easy knowing their kids were exploring in a high quality, safe, commerce-free environment.
Today, a StoryBots membership unlocks all 10 of our Starring You® Videos on StoryBots.com. Over the next 3 months, we will be rolling out a host of new apps and web experiences that will make your StoryBots membership the lowest-cost, highest-value arrow in your parenting quiver!
By the end of March 2013, members will have access to:
- ‘Starring You® Videos’ on the web – with a new video added every month
- ‘Starring You® Books’ for iPad – with a new book added every month
- ‘ABC Videos’ apps for both iPhone and iPad
- ‘Tap & Sing’ musical app for iPad
- ‘Printables’ activity sheet downloads on the web
- ‘Beep & Boop’ for iPhone
- A new parent app that’s too secret to tell you about yet!

Keep up the awesome work, the stories are awesome and a nice break from the other apps that just don’t seem to get it.

I am beyond satisfied with this app. My 4 year old loves getting a new story every month where he is the star. Thanks for putting such a great app out there.

I love this app. I am a speech and language therapist and use this app daily with the children I treat. It is a great therapy tool and reinforcement. Several of the children I treat are requesting a book with horses and another with trains. Keep up the great work!!

I can’t tell you enough how much my daughters LOVE storybots, Paige is three and loves the books, Sienna is only 16 months old but she is mesmerized by the nursery rhymes and the alphabet songs. I can’t tell you how nice it is to have an alternative to Starfall and how nice it is to have songs stuck in my head that don’t drive me crazy! My husband is the head of a school here in Dubai and has passed your good work onto all his elementary teachers – have you considered school memberships yet so that all the EC kids can use the site through their school computers? Sam, Jay, Paige and Sienna in Dubai!
StoryBots are just awesome. I fell in love the very first time I logged on. It has now become a nightly ritual with my 3y.o. grandson and we both sing with great gusto. These memories will last a lifetime, thanks so much and keep up the fantastic work. I look forward to my monthly membership

that’s a good question. i’d like to know the answer too. What do we do with the 6 month free membership? by the way, Storybots, previously jibjab is my favorite app for the grandkids and i probably have over 50 apps for them..

Thanks for the Free 6 months. Having no small children of my own any more and no grandkids except those of the furry kind, I was trying to think of who I could use this for than it hit me! My sisters 2 grandchildren. I think that when I get to sending them the stories they are going to LOVE having a storiy that they are the STARS of. Thanks again for the free 6 months.
